Lol why is Justin Marshall acting like the Canes are the first Kiwi side to get toppled in Fiji?
Did the Crusaders losing there not count?
Shows how well the Blues played last week to blunt the Drua flair and slow the game down completely. The Canes didn't follow the blueprint and got caught playing the Drua at their own game.
A well deserved win for the Drua, proving what a nightmare playing in Fiji is.
Drua let the Canes off the hook in that half. They should be out of sight and could come to regret it in the 2nd half.
If Roigard has to be subbed I wonder if the coaches have considered just having 14 men on the park instead? Recent weeks are showing it’s just too bigger penalty to the team having Booth and Morgan on the field together.

Well deserved Drua.
A fun watch for non Canes fans.

Both Lomax and Naholo now having their ankles strapped. I really hope there won't be a huge injury toll from this game.
The cynic in me says that was the old SA tactic. Lomax going to the ground to allow Naholo to be taped and back into action.

Sad to see that Drua player being stretchered off. He's barely moved after going down.
Great to see him ok on the sideline just now.

Good win by the Drua. Some Canes players - looking at Jordie and Savea - need to up their games big time. Sure they carried the team a bit of the last couple of years but their form this year is below par.
Hopefully that's the last we see of IWL for awhile. Lowest IQ player in Super by far and just not that good a player to make up for it.

Well played Drua. Hurricanes lost it by not controlling the game.
I blame Booth, Morgan and Barrett. All very average.
Barrett is so much better at fullback.

Once again the myth of Super Rugby bring boring and full of easybeats is debunked

Just watched this. All credit to an energetic Drua team. Lomani and Rakuro were great.
IWL regains the title of dumbest player in Super rugby from Paripari. And Canes missed Ardie and Aumua this game. Kirifi never stopped but rest of pack were average. Happy Naholo no longer at Chiefs with his errors.
Procter and Moorby were very good and great try saving tackle from Roigard kept them in the game. Oops just realised Ardie and Aumua were playing...Ardie managed 3 try saving turn overs in the first 30, could've been much worse
He also stood and watched a lot. That massive break off the scrum down the blind, Ardie looked up, saw it coming, stayed attached to the scrum then just turned and jogged after they'd gone past.
He looked like "past Ardie" today. Didn't seem to have his head on properly.

@KiwiMurph
Many All Blacks are currently very average (JB, RM, RI, AS, Ofa T, Laulala, Taylor, Frizell, just to name a few). Are they programmed to be at the peak of their form in October ?
No other sport in the world is cool with its best players being shit all season based on some mythical "peaking for October"
Maybe, maybe the NBA. But they play 82 games and even then fans will kick the fuck off.
But we've been gaslight by rugby to just accept our best players aren't actually the best players because they are resting for something else.
It's fucking ridiculous.
👌🏽👍🏽 also hoping Cameron comes back soon as possible and Bird! Good to see Proctor back would've been good to see more of Lakai. Iose keeping him out deservedly so.

Canes should be a little concerned about the work they are being asked to do in defence.
Drua have attempted 9 tackles, Canes attempted 61. That could hurt late in the game
@Canes4life The humidity is much more nasty in the islands. You could add another few degrees on the temperatures over there.
