No Japan?

I can't fathom how NZ rugby hasn't offered a 4 team plus pasifika set-up to Japan, including support to get them in the Rugby Championship. It's ridiculous.

A Pasifika Super Rugby side?

So this proposed Pasifika franchise being supported by Beegee Williams, despite being promoted to the contrary, can only take away from the already thinning depth of the five NZ SR squads. They're saying they'll focus on bringing back European-based Pasifika players for 2022

The Blues season so far

Well, we've had a good season. Winning against the Crusaders in a fortnight would set up next year nicely I reckon, give the lads some confidence.

Blues depth for 2021

The season drawing to a close, so it's time to start looking ahead to 2021. Overall our forwards have been really good, we have an excellent forwards coach, and good depth. We need to improve accuracy at the ruck, and gain a few more turnovers.
